We cannot resist this photo of Pulsar loving his new home! Pulsar was brought to us as a stray in February and tested positive for feline leukemia. Despite a lot of initial interest in him, it took him several months to find a good match. In early July he found his forever home with a family who had previously adopted feline leukemia cats and knows how special they are. Pulsar is now named River and is having a delightful time in his new home. Here’s what his family had to say:

”Sweetest River cat: the best gift ever!

We are overjoyed with our remarkable rescue from MRFRS! River is a constant source of happiness, affection and solace during these challenging times. His active zipping around, watching wildlife through the windows, and cuddling with our dog gives us unending joy! We know his loving start with his foster mom made such a positive difference to this now confident and loving cat. We have rescued feline leukemia positive cats in the past and they lived a long and full life. That is not a guaranteed outcome, but even a month with the amazing River would be the gift of a lifetime! Thank you to MRFRS and all your wonderful efforts to help these wonderful creatures!”
