About Zoe
The story of our 2026 Fur Ball Mascot, Zoe, comes to us from Zoe's mom, Gail:
Zoe was 11 weeks old when she joined our family.
She was the last of her litter to be adopted and she hid behind the bookshelf for the first few days, eating from tiny dishes, curled up on her new blanket. Once she ventured out, she became the queen of the household, sitting on the back of a chair or couch watching her brothers and sisters go about their business.
She never hissed, but the other kitties knew certain places were "hers."
Zoe struggled with lots of medical conditions over the years, fighting back against all of them with grace, always purring, always ready to be patted.
Her purr was so loud it would drown out everything in her human's mind and bring them peace and comfort.
