Whether you'd like to get those neighborhood cats neutered, if you're looking for a fun way to support MRFRS or just want to celebrate cats, there's an event around the corner to suit you and your kitty.

All surgical drop-offs are from 8:00-8:30am. Pick-up time is usually late afternoon – you will be given an exact time when you drop off your kitty, and if we are able to discharge earlier, we will contact you to inform you.
The van doors lock immediately after surgery begins and no cats will be admitted after this time. Please allow yourself plenty of travel time to accommodate for traffic or any other delays you may encounter. Please be prepared for all kinds of weather. We are a mobile unit and you will need to wait outside at drop-off and pick-up time.

On July 12th, we’re excited to offer rabies and distemper vaccines for $20, nail trims for $10, and FREE microchip identification for cats and dogs. The clinic will be held by appointment only at MRFRS’ Adoption Center located at 63 Elm St. in Salisbury, MA.
The FREE microchips are thanks to a grant from the Cummings Foundation.
Book your appointment today as they are limited and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. There are no income or residency requirements – just arrive with your cat in a carrier or dog on a leash and MRFRS’ vet and staff will take care of the rest.
Pre-registration and pre-payment are required. You can register for an appointment online (detailed instructions are below). If you have any trouble, please call the Shelter at 978-462-0760.
*Please provide proof of a prior rabies vaccine for your pet if you would like to receive a three-year rabies vaccine.

- To register online, select Cat Wellness Appointment, Dog Wellness Appointment or Microchip Only Appointment.
- Click “Next” and scroll to the clinic date to choose a time slot.
- Fill out pet owner’s information.
- Fill out pet’s information (please upload proof of prior rabies vaccine if you would like your pet to receive a three-year rabies vaccine).
- Click “Add Package” and add 1-year or 3-year package (must have proof of a prior rabies vaccine for your pet if you would like to receive a three-year rabies vaccine).
- If you do not need a microchip, please add a comment in the “Notes” section.
- Pre-payment is required and non-refundable – enter your credit or debit card information then click “Request Appointment” – you will be sent a series of confirmation emails following your appointment request.
- Have more than one pet? You’ll be brought back to the beginning of the form to fill out information for an additional pet. Please fill out one appointment request per animal.
