Step out for the 25th annual Strut for Strays – this year’s Strut has gone virtual!

The Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society needs your help now more than ever to raise much-needed funds to benefit our effective and life-saving programs for cats and the people who care about them. Through the COVID-19 crisis, MRFRS is determined to do everything possible to provide support and services to our community. During this time of social-distancing, the Strut for Strays is an opportunity for the MRFRS community to join together virtually while physically apart. And best of all, every dollar you raise will support our adoption, spay/neuter, and veterinary care programs.

FUNDRAISE

Raise money to help cats using social media, email, and photos to share how and why you are strutting for strays. Your passion will inspire others! Every individual who raises at least $300 will get our coveted Strut for Strays zip-up hoodie, and those raising $75 will receive our Strut t-shirt. Raise $500 to get both the zip-up hoodie and the t-shirt!

WIN PRIZES

You can win prizes by earning raffle tickets. The more money you raise, the more raffle tickets you earn! Register and raise $15 for your first raffle ticket, reach $75 raised for a second ticket, $300 for a third and $500 earns a fourth ticket to be entered into our raffle drawing for amazing prizes**:

1st place: $200 Amazon gift card
2nd place: $75 Amazon gift card

COMPLETE YOUR WALK

You can walk any time from June 7 to June 14. You can walk any distance, from anywhere – whether in your home on a treadmill, on a trail, or in your neighborhood. Whether you walk one block or three miles, you’ll be helping to raise awareness and funds for cats in need.

SHARE YOUR STRUT

Show off on social media using #StrutForStrays #MRFRS and tagging MRFRS. Get creative – we'll be sharing your photos and videos on our social media accounts throughout the day!

Every individual who raises at least $300 will get our coveted Strut for Strays zip-up hoodie, and those raising $75 will receive our Strut t-shirt. Raise $500 to get both the zip-up hoodie and the t-shirt!

*Once the order has been placed, we cannot exchange shirts or zip-up hoodies for sizes other than your chosen size. Two orders will be placed. The first order will be placed on May 21. If you have raised the necessary funds prior to May 21, 2020, your gear will be ordered and we will make every effort to arrange for pick up or delivery to you prior to June 14, 2020. A second order will be placed on June 21, 2020 for anyone who qualified for a t-shirt or hoodie after May 21, 2020. Upon receipt of the gear by MRFRS, you can make arrangements to pick up your Strut t-shirt or zip-up hoodie by appointment or we will mail them to you at your expense.

As a sponsor, you will receive significant publicity from the date your sponsorship is received through the event date from press releases, e-mails and multiple Facebook posts and ads. In addition, all our walkers use the FirstGiving platform to raise money from their family and friends, increasing the event’s–and your–visibility. Your name on the walker’s t-shirt offers you recognition for sponsoring not just on the day of the walk...but every time the t-shirt is worn!
