Lisa Jensen, designer and owner of Lisa Jensen Interior Design provides flat rate design and decorating packages to her clients that bridge the gap she identified in the industry between high-end white glove full-service design and low-end budget decorating. Lisa has a proven track record helping over 1,000 Boston area clients for 19 years and is grateful to consistently receive client feedback such as:
“Thank you so much Lisa! Wow, you are so talented. I’m just amazed. Everything you chose for our family room is interesting and pretty, ties in beautifully with the kitchen plan which is SO gorgeous – it makes me giddy. This is all just great! We liked everything and agree on everything…yes the giant fan! I’m excited to have these ideas to work on at our own pace. Makes next year far less stressful for me. Thank you! Love your work!” – J & T M, Newfields, NH, July 2020
Lisa believes that living in a beautifully designed and decorated home improves the health and well-being of everyone living there–and that alone is a worthwhile investment. She encourages her clients to avoid trends and follow their hearts instead.
Lisa and her husband Mike became involved with MRFRS shortly after moving to the Newburyport area back in 2011 when a feral cat began visiting their yard. A lifelong animal lover Lisa has always rescued any distraught animal she encounters.
With a little education and guidance from Liz at MRFRS, she was able to successfully trap, neuter, and welcome “D.J.” into their home to enjoy a great life with their other cats.
A decade later, Lisa and Mike continue to sponsor MRFRS’s Strut For Strays and Fur Ball Gala through her namesake business, Lisa Jensen Interior Design, in order to support their efforts to help cats in need, educate the public, and assist those who can’t afford their vet bills. Most recently after D.J.’s passing, they adopted a senior cat who is as playful as a kitten, Sam-The-Man, through MRFRS.
