Homemade Christmas Cat Treats

We’re sharing the recipe below so you can spread the holiday cheer with your furry family members at home. These treats are sure to bring joy to your kitty’s heart (and tummy)!
Holiday Cat Tree-eats
Ingredients
- 6 ounces undrained tuna
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons water*
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place all ingredients in a mix bowl and knead together with your hands, starting with just 2 tablespoons of water. *Add more water 1 tablespoons at a time if needed until you get a soft, rollable dough.
- Let the dough rest 10 minutes.
- Roll out the dough between two sheets of parchment paper or using a small amount of cornmeal on your board.
- Place on your parchment lined cookie sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until dry.
- Let cool and serve! Keep in a Tupperware or Ziplock bag for three days or freeze.
