MRFRS’ 2026 Strut for Strays

  What an amazing Strut for Strays we had at Winnekenni Castle 

We had an incredible morning at our Strut for Strays event on Sunday, June 7th, 2026 (check out our recap video here)!

With more than 140 attendees gathered on a beautiful sunny morning at Winnekenni Castle, our community came together to celebrate cats, support MRFRS, and make a real difference for homeless felines.

Thanks to your generosity, we are thrilled to share that the event raised more than $62,000 to help us continue our lifesaving work! These vital funds will go to support MRFRS' programs like adoption, spay/neuter, the Catmobile, and providing financial assistance for veterinary care for cats in need.

Whether you walked, donated, volunteered, sponsored, attended the event, or rallied the community to give, you made a meaningful impact and we could not have done it without you! We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our dedicated volunteers, staff, fosters, adopters, sponsors, and supporters who help us purr-sue a better tomorrow for cats every day.
