Want to show off your kitty in our 2014 MRFRS Cat Calendar*? Now’s the time to submit your photo! For a donation of $25, your cat will be featured in a small photo in the calendar. Want a whole page just for your cat? For $300, your cat can be “cat of the month” — and can even get a professional photo shoot! Click here for guidelines on how to submit your digital photos, or mail a printed photo (on photo paper or commercially printed, please!) with your donation and a caption written ON A SEPARATE PIECE OF PAPER taped to the back of the photo to: MRFRS Cat Calendar, 63 Elm Street, Salisbury MA 01952. Deadline is July 15th! FeLV is a virus which does shorten a cat’s lifespan significantly — but these cats are generally healthy up until the very end of their lives, so we believe they deserve a chance at a real home for however long their lives last! MRFRS is one of a very few shelters in the COUNTRY that take in FeLV+ cats, so we are overwhelmed with requests to take these guys! JULY HOLIDAY CLOSINGS

Our Catmobile will be off the road for the week of the 4th of July holiday. Our 63 Elm St Salisbury Adoption Center will be CLOSED on Wednesday, July 4th; Thursday, July 5th; and Saturday, July 6th. The Catmobile will be back on the road in Lowell on Monday, July 8th. Visit our Catmobile page to make a reservation. Our adoption center will re-open on Tuesday, July 9th for adoptions.
