Happy Tails: Caspian

caspianCaspian came to us in May when, sadly, his owners could not afford much-needed veterinary care for him. The poor boy’s dental disease required immediate medical attention: his mouth had become so painful and infected that he could not eat and he was suffering from undernourishment and dehydration.  We immediately rushed Caspian to our vet for an emergency dental operation and fluids, and he then spent sometime in the hospital recovering.  When he was strong enough, he returned to the shelter to continue his recuperation.
Today Caspian isn’t even recognizable as the skinny boy who first came through our doors.  He has gained weight, his coat is beautiful, and he found a wonderful forever home during our “Purricane” adoption event on August 22!  Congratulations, Caspian!
